Born in Hangzhou, China, Jojo Wang is a visual artist who currently works and lives in Shanghai, China. Being interested in inventions based on her feelings of daily encounters, she creates both fine art and illustration pieces that emphasize uniques narratives. Her works are fictions: they activate open-ended stories that can be materialized nowhere in real life, but only in her works.

Jojo Wang now works as both a freelance illustrator and an art teacher. Her recent projects include children's book, commercial art, and artist books. She completes her BFA at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2020.
